I’m SO excited to share with you a chic studio maternity session that I had the pleasure of shooting for my dear friends, Kristi and Dean! First off, a little backstory. I’ve known Kristi since our college days and our friendship has blossomed into a beautiful bond. I was even a bridesmaid at her breathtaking wedding in Italy. So, when she asked me to capture this new chapter of their life, I was so so happy!!
Kristi & Dean’s Chic Studio Maternity Session
Kristi and Dean wanted a chic and sophisticated studio shoot to celebrate the arrival of their little one. They booked the most gorgeous spot in Oakland, a setting that perfectly captured their style. The studio was filled with natural light, creating a soft, peaceful atmosphere that was just magical. It was the perfect backdrop for this exciting moment in their lives. And the couple? They were nothing short of stunning! Kristi was glowing, and Dean looked every bit the proud father-to-be. Their joy and anticipation for their baby of joy was palpable, and I felt so privileged to be able to capture this special time in their lives.
But that’s not all! I also had the honor of shooting their intimate elopement at the iconic San Francisco City Hall. Can you believe it? From being a bridesmaid to documenting their elopement, and now their journey into parenthood – It feels like I’ve been a part of their love story every step of the way! There’s something incredibly special about being able to document these important stages in my friends’ lives. From saying their “I do’s” to the exciting journey into parenthood, I love that I’ve been there to capture it all.
