I’m fueled by coffee and a passion for making people feel freakin’ AMAZING in front of my camera!!! My promise to you is that within 3 minutes of your session, you’re going to feel like a natural! Seriously. Because I know what it feels like to be on the other side. In fact, a huge part of why I became a photographer is because I used to feel sooo awkward having my photo taken, and I wanted to make sure no one ever felt the way I did!!

So here we go! I’m Rachel. I’m your photographer, but I’m also a dog loving, adventure seeking, fitness instructor goof with one of the loudest laughs you’ll ever hear (you’ve been warned!!). I’m based in Sacramento, CA but always on the go. You can often find me camping, paddleboarding, or hiking around NorCal with my boyfriend and my little frenchie pup!!
I’m told I’m a superrr laidback type A personality! Which basically means I’m obsessed with backend organization and preparation, but I live my life to the fullest with fun and go-with-the flow energy!!! I like to think this approach to life helps me serve you best. Because I’m here to help you plan allll the details ahead of time so on the day of your elopement or wedding you can kick back and relax and know it’s all been taken care of! I firmly believe your day should just be about having the best time ever and loving hard on your person!!!
And that’s where I come in. I’ll be documenting all the littlest moments and biggest emotions, the deep belly laughs and the happy tears, the romantic sunset and the candid interactions, the adventure and the calm, and everything in between.
When I picked up my sister’s old camera 4 years ago, I had no idea of the incredible journey and pivot my life would take! I’ve captured over 100 weddings, elopements, and life sessions which makes my heart want to burst with gratitude. I’m endlessly grateful for the amazing people I get to meet, serve, and hype up all while behind my camera!!
