There is almost nothing as beautiful as Marin Headlands engagement photos!! And more specifically, I could not recommend having a Rodeo Beach engagement photos more!

Kristi and Dean live in San Francisco, CA with their sweet and newly adopted puppy Ziggy. Like many others during the pandemic, these two realized it was the perfect time to finally adopt a pup into the family! When they met Ziggy, it was instant love and they knew they wanted some professional photos with their adorable new boy! They selected this location because of proximity to the city and the unique variety of backdrops it provides. Plus, it’s a dog friendly beach which was a obviously location requirement for the session!

Marin Headlands Engagement Photos Locations 

We started off on the beach and were lucky this corner was fairly empty!! I absolutely love the contrast of the water with the green moss rocks leading up to the ocean-side cliff. There’s also the prettiest pale orange rock formation looking out to the ocean! I always love to have a variety of colors where possible! Okay and last comment on the gorgeous beach, but let’s talk about how gorgeous gray skies and misty weather is for photos?! When we arrived and I saw the overcast, I really got so excited! It creates a really moody and magical photo while casting the most flattering light on these two.

From there we walked over to the hiking area on the opposite side of the parking lot. I am a sucker for open field landscapes so we pulled out the blanket and got cuddly amongst the grass! Dean’s goofiness paired with Kristi’s belly laugh was my absolute favorite!!! You can almost hear her laughter through the photo!!
