These Sacramento rooftop downtown engagement photos with Myriah and Kyle were giving such country meets city vibes, and I loved the look! Kyle and Myriah are two of my best friends, which made this session all the better! These two actually first met at Drake’s at The Barn four years ago. It was a true 101 Dalmatians encounter! Myriah had her aussie and Kyle had his aussie doodle who dragged him over to Myriah’s pup! The rest was history. You can’t tell me you’ve ever heard of a cuter love story, am I right?!

Myriah & Kyle’s Sacramento Rooftop Downtown Engagement Photos

We were originally supposed to have their session at the very place they met – Drake’s at The Barn. We had to last minute pivot those plans though, so we opted for this parking garage in downtown Sacramento! It turned out to be the perfect location, because during blue hour, some of the downtown Sacramento buildings made it look like we were in a European city!! Kyle and Myriah LOVED that aspect! I think it was just meant to be that our plans changed!

They did end up picking up some Drake’s beer to cheers to during the shoot, a shout out to how their story began! Its cute because Myriah is originally from Texas and a country girl at heart but loves the city. Kyle is from California and loves the city, but is slowly becoming more of a country music fan. They also both love emo music, so of course we had to blast out to My Chemical Romance during the shoot!
