Hannah and Josh’s Sacramento capitol park engagement was absolutely perfect!!! The two originally weren’t exactly sure what kind of location they wanted to shoot in for their photos, but ultimately decided they wanted a mix of greenery and city vibes!! The California state capitol was the perfect combination to bring their photo dreams to life!!

Josh used to live down the street from this park and they’d make an effort to walk through the park often together!! Josh also shared the fun fact that this park supposedly has at least one tree of every type of tree that can be found in California!! So cool!!! Plus I feel like it explains how this park has a cactus garden, a rose garden, and tons of different and gorgeous tree lined areas!!!

This location also worked perfectly because they could easily bring their sweet pup Huckleberry with them too!!! He was the most easy going cutie ever!!! I grew up with an Australian shepherd so I was in love with him at first sight!! Also, he was incredible off leash! I was also so in awe of how well he listens (my pups may or may not be terrible listeners hahah). 

Outfits!

Lastly, let’s talk about their outfits!!! I LOVED that their first outfit was white and neutral. It looked amazing against all of the greens of the park. From there they changed into soft blue colors which worked beautifully against the city lights and state capitol building itself. Plus just look at Hannah’s gorgeous earrings!!! I was obsessed and definitely had to get some up close photos of those beauties!!
