I loved taking professional headshots in Sacramento, California for Amanda! It was an absolute blast! She reached out to me asking for some headshots and lifestyle portraits so she could use them to launch her new business. She specifically requested a few locations, and was eager to show off some of the prettiest and most iconic places in Sacramento. I was absolutely ecstatic for this session! 

We started on her front porch because she wanted to make sure she got some photos with her succulent plants behind her. Why? Because succulents were a big influence in her brand and logo design! It also worked out perfectly because a few neighbors walked by and created some candid moments. A lot of the laughing photos on the stairs are in direct response to the outside environment! 

From there we swung by the state capitol building and got some beautiful shots of her in front of the flower bed. Though we were not able to get any photos up close, the angles we got ended up being the perfect mix of Amanda and the background. 

Finally, no Sacramento session would be complete without photos in front of Tower Bridge!!! We made sure to snap some photos in front of the iconic golden bridge. I love that she changed into her dark navy dress for this part so she could really pop again the yellows and oranges. 

In summary…

This session was SO much fun!!! We were cracking up the entire time plus Amanda is just the cutest human ever! She has the sweetest and most easy going personality! She even wrote me a handwritten thank you card and posted the kindest review ever on instagram! I can’t wait until she officially launches her business. Cheers to Amanda and all of her upcoming business adventures!!
