Dillon Beach

Point Reyes engagement photos are some of my favorites ever!! Specifically, we took these photos at Dillon beach near Bodega Bay! This entire area is full of so many gorgeous locations for your photos! If you’re looking for northern California beach engagement photos, Dillon beach may be perfect for you!!! It’s tucked away in a quiet beach town which makes it perfect if you want a less crowded location. I love that the beach is large and quiet, there are super pretty sand dunes, and there are even some gorgeous rock formations to get some photos with variety!

I knew it was going to be the best night when we all arrived early and we decided we had time to hang out and have a beer before we started taking photos!!!! Angela and I both went to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and although we didn’t know each other in college, it was so fun to talk about our memories there!!! We also talked about our love of dogs and camping, and specifically, all the times these two have spent time in the Dillon beach area with family. It’s so clear to me how much their family and friends mean to them!

We started the session by running around in the dunes and on the beach! We were so lucky to have the most beautiful sunset!!! From there, we headed over to the local grocery store which holds a special place in their hearts! It was fun to get a totally different vibe for their photos here.
