When I think of Oahu engagement photos, I think of stunning quiet beaches like this and meeting incredible people like Matt & Raye!!!

These two were such a blast and I love how they brought a sweet dog (and yes I mean “a” dog, not “their” dog). I didn’t know until halfway through the shoot that they were just puppy sitting with friends. After making them go through several poses with the pup, they were finally like…oh I think we should mention this is Matt’s coworker’s dog. Hahaha. She made for adorable fun photos though so it was worth it!

Matt and Raye were down to get into the water and play around!! Getting to hang out with them on this strip of paradise we had all to ourselves is one of my absolute favorite experiences ever!! 

If you’re thinking about having Oahu engagement photos taken, I highly recommend talking to your photographer about their favorite remote locations!! While any beach is going to be stunning, there is something extra special about having one all to yourself!! Alternatively, if you absolutely love a more well-known beach, maybe opt for a sunrise shoot!! 

There are sooo many gorgeous locations beyond the beaches too! There are several cliffside locations, hikes, waterfalls, and tropical forests too! I’m here to help you pick out the absolute best location for what you’re looking for!
