First Things, First
Let’s start with how Jasmine and Dom are two of my favorite people in the entire world!!! I met Jasmine briefly over a video call before they booked me for their elopement, but I didn’t meet them in person until their elopement just before sunrise. The moment I met them, I genuinely felt like they were my long lost best friends. They are just so kind, easy going, and seriously so full of life and pure HAPPINESS (you’ll see what I mean in all of the photos).
They opted for a sunrise elopement at Lanakai beach! This is a special location to them and it was fairly empty so early in the morning. We were blessed with the most magical sunrise ever!! After a short and super sweet ceremony, we took a few photos on the beach!
From there we headed over to one of my favorite hikes on the island! It has panoramic views once you reach the top! No matter where you turn is absolutely gorgeous- whether it’s the turquoise waters of the deep green mountains- it’s 100% worth the steep hike to get there! We did have a few slips on the way down though so always make sure to be careful when hiking in Hawaii.
After taking in those views, we headed over to hoomaluhia botanical gardens!! It was their first time here and it was so fun to explore it with them!!! You are pretty much right up against the lush green mountains of Oahu and it was so fun running around with them!!!
The Big Surprise
We then took a lunch (and nap) break and then met up again for the final adventure of their day! Dom is working on getting his helicopter pilot license and Jasmine wanted to surprise him with a tour of the island- it was so freakin’ thoughtful!!! I was so thankful I could be there and capture the moment for them before they took off to the sky!!!
