These San Francisco engagement photos are an absolute dream! WOW! The locations included Lovers Lane, Golden Gate bridge, and Sutro Baths at Lands End!! We were so lucky to have the most perfect weather and gorgeous clear skies. San Francisco normally has June gloom with Carl the fog rolling in, but the sky was clear and bright for Mallory and Ryan! Deservedly so because these two are the absolute sweetest and were such a joy to spend the evening with!!!
Mallory and Ryan met in San Francisco and wanted their photos to showcase the city where they fell in love. We started at Lover’s lane and snagged some lush forest photos amongst the greenery. It felt like we were in the middle of a remote forest when in reality we were tucked within the hustle and bustle of San Francisco. From there we left to drive to Lover’s Lane and on the way spotted the most perfect view of the Golden Gate bridge off the side of the road! We pulled off and parked on the side of the road to take a few iconic photos with the bridge in the background. It doesn’t get more iconic than that!!! I love being spontaneous like that in all of my shoots!
We wrapped up the night at Land’s End Sutro baths for the most gorgeous sunset. As someone who grew up in Sacramento and lived in San Francisco for a summer, I can’t believe I’ve never actually been here! I love a beach session that involves frolicking in the ocean waves, rolling in the sand, and lots of giggles. These two did NOT disappoint. It was the perfect ending to the most perfect San Francisco engagement photoshoot!
I can’t wait to see Mallory and Ryan again in July when I’ll be shooting their wedding!! These two initially planned on a big wedding with family and friends at a winery in Gilroy, CA but due to Covid had to change plans. They’re staying positive and making the most of it though. They’re now having an intimate Sonoma wedding and are making the most of it! I can’t wait to celebrate with them!!!
