Short & Sweet Session
These two Sacramento locals celebrated five years of marriage with a short and sweet couples photography session! We were super speedy though and snapped all of these photos in under 15 minutes! Yes, that’s right! It’s amazing what you can do during a mini photoshoot!!
I met Hunter and Madison out at their home in Wilton, California. It was an overcast yet beautiful day in winter. We beat the rain by just a few minutes too! I knew it was going to be one of my favorite shoots when I was immediately greeted on property by their two sweet German shepherds!!! One of them was a three month old puppy!
Their Love Story
Hunter is a police officer for Sacramento county and Madison is studying to become a licensed family therapist. I’m not surprised their day jobs revolve around helping people, because they are two of the warmest and most thoughtful people!!! They were absolutely made for each other!
Hunter and Madison first met in the summer of 2014. After an amazing year together, Hunter property! And the best part of this shoot? They got married on their home property as well! I love that they have photos of their relationship milestones in the same spot! They now have two adorable boys at four and two years old! Are they not the cutest parents you’ve ever seen?!!!
While it’s so important to capture family photos, I love that these two saw the value in capturing some anniversary photos of just them too as well! While Hunter’s dad watched the kids, we played around outside and snapped some photos. Madison had the baby monitor with us too just in case we needed to head back in! It was the perfect set up for a mini shoot!
If you scroll through enough of the photo, you’ll notice one of their fur babies made a sneaky and fierce appearance in a few of them!!
