I absolutely love living in California, largely because it gives me the ability to be a San Diego Wedding Photographer! I also have the honor of taking engagement and anniversary photos in addition to weddings and elopements!! In this case, Andrea and Taylor are celebrating two years of marriage! They are two of the sweetest lovebirds ever! You know when you meet people who are so genuinely kind and lovely, it just radiates from them?! These two are those people!!! Two beautiful humans with the most beautiful souls.
They also have the cutest love story!!! Both of them are from San Diego and part of a large youth bible study organization. They didn’t meet until Andrea went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo the year after Taylor. A mutual friend from the bible study told each of the them about the other and joked that they had to meet at school because they were perfect for each other. Only a few weeks into Andrea’s freshman year, the two got together and immediately hit it off as predicted. It wasn’t long after that that they started dating. The rest is history!
After graduating they had a couple years of long distance before Taylor got down on one knee and proposed!! After getting married, they moved into a place in San Diego just a few miles from this exact location. In fact, that’s why they picked this location for their photos! They spent many evenings strolling along Batiquitos Lagoon during their first year of marriage. Knowing that made this session extra special.
Plus, Taylor even wore her wedding rehearsal dress for some of these photos! Such a great idea to rewear any of your wedding related attire again for an anniversary shoot! I loved how dramatic the gorgeous dress was compared to the other outfits! It provided so much variety in the shoot! I also loved how much it added to the photos of them dancing between the eucalyptus trees!! It gave me all the “Once Upon a Dream” vibes and I could not get enough!! Cheers to these San Diego cuties!!!!
