Jess and Garrett, high school sweethearts, had the most gorgeous Lake Tahoe wedding at Gar Woods Grill & Pier! It was incredibly special for the two to have their wedding here because they LOVE Lake Tahoe! They even took their engagement photos at Emerald Bay in the fall with the gorgeous colors and beautiful yellow aspen leaves! They had their pup Pepper with them for not only their engagement photos, but their wedding portraits as well! This day was so beautiful, and I loved being able to capture Jess and Garrett’s wedding in a place that holds such a special place in their hearts! As a Lake Tahoe wedding photographer, photographing here never gets old. There’s so much beauty to take in, no matter how many times you visit!

Jess & Garrett’s Classic Lake Tahoe Wedding

Getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen was a very relaxed start to the day for Jess and Garrett. The guys arrived to venue via a small sail boat which was so fun! Then Jess and Garrett did a first touch up on the balcony of Gar Woods Grill & Pier. It was such a romantic spot for their first touch where they also exchanged private vows.

Their ceremony was also so stunning and right by the water with gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe! Jess also really wanted some shots of her and Garrett in the bar, so we of course made that happen! It was super fun and important to her! Overall, this wedding day was beautiful, filled with so much love and support for Jess and Garett, with the most stunning views for not only their ceremony, but the reception space as well. Jess and Garett are such a sweet couple who are so fun, and capturing their Lake Tahoe wedding was a dream!
