Oahu, Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places. There are so many things to do and see! As a Oahu wedding photographer, I visit quite often. Over time I’ve come to find my favorite places in Oahu for food and coffee, and I HAVE to share with you! Whether you’re visiting Oahu for your own wedding or otherwise, I recommend these places!! These spots are all pretty dang healthy and align with my lifestyle! I love the rest ingredients, paleo options, and overall vibes of each of these spots. Let’s get into these amazing Oahu food recommendations!
Of course, I can’t make a Oahu food recommendations blog without also including my favorite cafe’s and coffee spots! These four spots are ones you must visit, as their coffee and baked goods are DELICOUS!
Coffee shop 831– This is a cafe in Honolulu with organic options with coffees that are sourced locally. They even have fresh smoothies and breakfast items as well! There are lots of gluten-free and vegan options which is great for someone like me with food allergies. They also have ocean-friendly apparel, tumblers, and coffee mugs which make some pretty cute souvenirs!
Mana & Pua – Cutest café for coffee and wine on the north shore. The energy in there is just perfect- cute and friendly. They have a great menu which you can check out here!
Leonard’s Bakery – Superrrr famous Portuguese bakery. This is the only recommendation I personally can’t eat it due to allergies but people love it!! You can now even order online for pickup or delivery as well! This bakery was originally founded in 1952, and it’s origin story is pretty neat. You can learn more about its history here!
Looking for some Oahu food recommendations for a light brunch or light lunch? These are some of the best locations!
Beet Box Café – Healthy breakfast and lunch on north and south shore. They are open everyday from 9am-3pm! Check out their delicious menu here! This is a MUST stop for me everytime I’m on island.
Leahi – Great location for smoothies and lunch (vegan and insane portions). They also have multiple locations. Their locations include Kaimuki, Monoa, Aina Haina, Hawaii Kai, and Koloa Kauai! You can check out their menu here!
Farm to Barn – Another great spot for smoothies and nourishment on the north shore! They are ocean friendly and only source their ingredients from local, organic farms!
Sunrise Shack – This place has multiple locations and they are great for their acai bowls! The shack was originated in 2016 by three brothers and good friend who are all surfers! They have locations in Kailua, Haleiwa, and two locations in Honolulu! You can check out their online menu and even order online here!
Banan – This is basically a fruit soft serve and it is soooo good in Honolulu! They have three locations in Honolulu making it super easy to get some yummy fruit soft serve!
You’ll want to hit up Foodland Grocery Store for their poke – seriously I’ve yet to find better. They actually have a lot of options to choose from, and they always have a simple gluten-free option that I can have!!
Moku Kitchen – This place has super yummy dinner. Live music and insane Mai Thais. This whole area is revitalized and has super cute other bars etc. around it. Check out their lunch and dinner menu here!
The Pig and The Lady – This restaurant has really good Vietnamese food for dinner and is super trendy. They also have a new location opening in Tokyo, Japan soon!
