This Shark Fin Cove couples session on the beach with Leslie and her boyfriend was so much fun! Leslie was actually the winner of my first ever Instagram giveaway! Her and her boyfriend drove all the way from Las Vegas for this session, and they only stayed in the area for a day and a half. It was so much fun getting to meet the two and and show them the beauty of Shark Fin Cove in Santa Cruz as they’ve never been here before! As a wedding and couples Santa Cruz photographer, Shark Fin Cove is one of my favorite spots in the area for a beach session!!!

A Playful Shark Fin Cove Couples Beach Session

Leslie and her boyfriend were pretty nervous in the beginning of the session, but their nerves faded very quickly! I sent them my usual guide that I provide clients for outfit recommendations, and I love that they took that into consideration when choosing their outfits! They both wore neutrals and fit right into the beachy setting. Even though the water was a bit cold, they wanted to take advantage of being at the ocean and played around in it towards the end! Overall this was such a beautiful session and the weather was perfect. Shark Fin Cove is such a great spot for a beach couples session or beach engagement photos. It offers the most beautiful turquoise water which makes for the perfect backdrop for any kind of photoshoot, or even am intimate beach elopement!
