Getting to be a Sacramento maternity photographer is one of my absolute favorite parts of being a Sacramento wedding photographer. While I mainly shoot weddings, elopements, and engagement sessions, I always love when I get to take maternity photos!!

There’s something so special and unique about the love shared during maternity photos. Whether it’s a couple I’m meeting for the first time or a couple I’ve had the privilege of shooting their wedding and growing with over the years, I’m always so excited for these!!!

This Sacramento location is one of the most requested I receive for all shoots! The open field and beautiful large oak trees make it one of the most beautiful spots to shoot at. I’m a sucker for the warm colors that the field provides. Plus the river is just at the edge of the field which gives this spot a lot of variety if that’s what you’re looking for!!

These two technically didn’t book a maternity session, but instead a pregnancy announcement!! We did a hybrid of fun maternity poses and announcement photos! They brought their baby sonogram to add something more tangible to the announcement!!
