If you aren’t able to have a Fort Bragg wedding, then you definitely need to schedule your engagement photos there at least!!! This Fort Bragg CA engagement session ended up being some of my favorite photos of all time!!! I’m officially adding this spot to my top NorCal locations! Jenny and Jason often visit Fort Bragg so it has a special place in their heart. From there, they shared they wanted a mix of ocean and open fields. I did a little research and found this spot and I knew it would be perfect.

What I Loved Most About Fort Bragg

There are a few specific things I loved about this Fort Bragg location! First of all, we took these photos on a Saturday night and I was so surprised by how quiet it was!!! It felt like we had the entire sunset to ourselves! I also LOVE the variety of photos we could get here! Between the tall grasses, open plains, ocean views, and staggering cliffs- we had a little bit of everything!!! Plus, I’m biased but my favorite colors to shoot are soft oranges and beiges and pale blues and greens.

Jenny and Jason brought their super sweet pup Otto to join in for some of the photos too!!! They warned me he normally doesn’t like photos, but I have to say that he absolutely nailed this shoot. He’s so dang cute and had no problem looking right at the camera which made it so fun!!!

Jenny and Jason are so dang easy going and I had the best time getting to actually meet them in person!!!! If you can’t tell, they love to laugh and just have a good time. My heart was so full after this engagement session!!! I left extra excited to capture their wedding this fall!! AND it gets even better!!!! A few days after their photos, Jenny text me and said she was looking at my website and noticed I listed Psych as one of my favorite TV shows. Apparently, it’s one of their favorite shows too!!!! This show is SO underrated so we then chatted endlessly about our love for it which was super fun!
