If you’re looking for a place to elope in San Luis Obispo, I highly recommend a Pismo Beach elopement. There really are so many gorgeous spots to elope in SLO though!! From the rolling hills, the rugged coastline, to the dunes, and adorable downtown areas, it’s basically a dream!!
In Lauren and Dillon’s case, they knew it was perfect for their vow renewal. Lauren and Dillon celebrated 12 years together, 10 years married, and raising their family together with the sweetest vow renewal on the Shell Beach cliffs!!! They took road tripped all the way from Colorado for this special celebration of their love. Lauren grew up in the area and knew SLO would be a special place for the entire family.
I’m in awe of the beautiful vows they exchanged and gorgeous evening they set up. It’s just so special that their kids have such amazing examples of love. They stood by their parents sides to witness them reaffirming their love and commitment to each other.
Pismo Beach Picnic
After the vow exchange, we headed down below for a picnic on the beach. They laid out a blanket, kicked off their shoes, and enjoyed drinks and charcuterie together. Also, they love 805 beer and made sure to crack them open together and take sip together to celebrate the reaffirmation of their love.
From there, we took more family and photos of the two of them at the end of sunset and at the start of blue hour. It was truly such a magical experience and I really could not recommend a vow renewal more.
Vow Renewal Roadtrip
After this, they journeyed up the HWY 1 coastal freeway to Big Sur and Carmel to keep the celebration going.
