This River Highlands Ranch wedding was one of my favorite weddings EVER!!! Mallory & Stephen are two of the most genuine and fun loving humans!!!!
Their love story is rooted in their shared love of sports, particularly baseball & softball!!! Not only were each of them incredible athletes, but they actually met through sports, and we got to hear the full story during toasts. One of the coaches they work with gave the first speech of the night and revealed the origin of their love story!!! In short, let’s just say it involved the coach acting as cupid, a baseball team, and (almost) auctioning off Stephen!!!
I love how much thought and detail they put into their wedding details so that their wedding was a perfect reflection of their love!!! Based on the story above, it’s no surprise that their dinner tables had photos of them playing their different sports and they were all ADORABLE.
Also, they had such a clear vision for putting simple eucalyptus on the tables, the all white florals (I’m obsessed!!!), and the most incredible handmade wall with their last name in a neon sign! Yup, that gorgeous wall you see was made by them and their family- how cool is that?!! It’s so special that it was a labor love and wow did they do an incredible job!
I also have to shout out their incredible family and friends. It’s such a testament to what incredible people Mallory and Stephen are, as they are surrounded by some of the most amazing people who clearly love them so much!!
Mallory’s maid of honor Alex set up the bridal room so beautifully and it was super organized! Not to mention she packed the most intense emergency kit I’ve ever seen and I was beyond impressed!!! All of Mallory’s bridesmaids were incredibly sweet and so committed to making this the most perfect day for Mallory and Stephen- I just loved the group so much! Also, Mallory’s stepmom surprised her with the cutest custom made jean jacket while she was getting ready and it was one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever gotten to document. Honestly, all of the people I got to spend the morning with were just the best ever. I’d say it’s tied with Mallory’s super precious father daughter first look!!! Just LOOK at those emotions!!! I thought my heart would freakin’ explode.
Stephen’s groomsmen brought so much energy to the day while also being so kind and helpful! They helped set up and adjust the custom wall and were so awesome during the wedding party pictures!!! Also, Stephen’s brother gave a wedding speech that had me both cracking up and crying. It was so incredible getting to hear about his relationship with Stephen.
Mallory and Stephen are just the best and it’s couples like them that make me beyond grateful for my job!!! I’m so so thankful to have them in my life and hope to capture so many more moments for them in the future! I’d love to be a part of you
