Olivia and Mike’s engagement session holds an extra special place in my heart! I’ve known Mike since elementary school!!! Plus my husband and him have been best friends since childhood. We have so many memories growing up together and all camping out on his family’s ranch (pictured here)!

Then a few years ago, Mike met Olivia and I think alllll of us fell in love with her!! They are just so perfect together and truly bring out the best sides in one another!! I’m beyond excited to be celebrating their engagement and wedding in the next year!!!

Engagement Session Tips for Sacramento & Beyond!

Also, would you ever guess that these two were super nervous before their session?!!! Based on the photos, I think you’d never guess!!! Honestly, when someone tells me they’re not “good” at taking photos, or they’re not photogenic, or they’re awkward – I honestly get excited because people who think these things always end up hands down taking some of my favorite photos ever!!! Let those awkward giggles loose (they honestly make for the best photos)! Book a photographer whose personality is a perfect fit for you. Lastly have a drink beforehand (and you’re above 21!!).

Trust me when I say this, if you book a photographer who is super positive and easy going, they are going to be able to bring out the best in you two and tell your story flawlessly!! Engagement photos are a super important part of your wedding journey and should always be a priority!!! It’s great practice in front of the camera, a way to get to know your photographer in person, and honestly just a fun date night where you get to dress up and love on each other!!
