I feel beyond blessed to live in California, where there are so many redwood forests. Plus, in Northern California, you don’t even have to pick between forest and beach for your wedding! Many of the forests are close to stunning beaches too so you can adventure to both on your wedding day if you just can’t decide between them!!! Below I’ve outlined two of my absolute favorite places and why they may be the right fit for you!!!

Big Sur Wedding

Big Sur is famous for a reason- it’s beauty is unparalleled!! The cliffside views and pristine beaches with dark turquoise waters are otherworldly!!! I mean there is a waterfall pouring directly into the ocean!! Here you’ll also have redwoods and the beach to explore throughout your day. Eloping is fairly easy with the right permits!! Weddings require a bit more coordination as it can be trickier getting to your venue locations because they tend to be more remote and the roads are pretty windy. It’s definitely worth it though, and you can create your perfect weekend – from camping or glamping to high end venues!

Santa Cruz Wedding

There are endless beautiful locations to elope or have a Santa Cruz wedding. There are beautiful forests, beaches, fields of flowers, and mountains to explore for your day! Santa Cruz is for the earthy, hippie, easy going couples who want to share their vows in one of the most beautiful places in California! After eloping, there are tons of places to eat, breweries to drink at, and beaches to relax at!
